 My Wishlist In Mobile Gaming

Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable)

Jumping into the mobile gaming bandwagon, Sony also launched PSP on the recent E3 event, which awed the spectators with its advanced feature such as movies playback & games (no games were shown however during the event). Instead of using Nintendo's catridge system, the PSP utilized UMD (Universal Media Disc), something like a mini version of DVD. The device is scheduled to be released by the end of the year 2004 and this will totally be challenged by Nintendo's DS.

Tapwave Zodiac

Just recently revisited their website and found that this is a new mobile gadget is designed to run 3D games. With their built-in ATI Imageon W4200 graphics accelerator, it should satisfiy 3D experience for mobile gaming. The system device is still running PalmOS, so user can still get the best of PDA experience with the stability of Palm platform.

Until next time...
