My words are my thoughts and I'm a pessimist person who just thinks that Murphy's Law is what defines me. I believe that anything bad that has ever happened will continue to do so. So, if anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway...

It looks like a bunch of garbled text, huh? Well, you can actually learn how to decode using by reading this post.

If you hate challenges, you might want to try jlys@[remove-this]tm.net.my but I only used this sparingly as it's the primary target for junk mails.

 Malaysian Idol

I just saw some clips of the Malaysian Idol sent by my friend via email. Normally I just hate to watch these types of shows such as Fear Factor or even TV reality series like Survivor. However today was a little different and I got less things to do, I peeked into the clips.

My god, it was so awful! I can't believe anyone with their right mind can actually audition for such event. You'll eventually know the judges will condemn the participant and will even make hurtful remarks. Sometimes I wonder why people still go for the audition. I saw once American Idol and see how Simon said: "You remember that I said that one particular contestant was probably the worst singer in America? Yeah, you're probably the worst in the world..."

I can see some girl's pride was really beaten down to the pulp. Don't these people have any pride any more? I do think a certain pride is good for life but apparently these people are very thick skinned trying very hard to win the impossible judges.

Another clip showed this guy having a handphone ringing in the middle of the audition, which I think is funny. And lastly the guy singing "Killing Me Softly", which I agreed with the judge, which he really sounded like "strangling a cat"...

One point that really get me to think, has Malaysia society has sunk so low that they would either be crazy/desperate enough for such attempt? I realized that there is the sportsmanship there but having whacked down by such a degree is really beyond my comprehension.

i think the judges only have bad remarks for those "bad" contestants... i think they are pretty tough, to be sitting there day by day listening to 100-odd contestants making fool of themselves....
