My words are my thoughts and I'm a pessimist person who just thinks that Murphy's Law is what defines me. I believe that anything bad that has ever happened will continue to do so. So, if anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway...

It looks like a bunch of garbled text, huh? Well, you can actually learn how to decode using by reading this post.

If you hate challenges, you might want to try jlys@[remove-this]tm.net.my but I only used this sparingly as it's the primary target for junk mails.

 Stupid Tax

Since the online order incident, the POS people left a message for my compadre, Fuminari. Checked out and realized that our package shipment was sent to Pejabat Kastam and he received an order from Seri Paduka Baginda. This doesn't sound good.

He called to the POS/Pejabat Kastam and relate to the order that he received, and found out our shipment has been seized for taxation. Another inquiry and found out our stuff has been taxed for 42% and they're awaiting for our payment!

What the hell!

A mere cheap stuff of RM 450 was taxed resulted in us paying extra RM 134 for the tax? I don't understand why our stuff are being taxed so high. I can understand if they taxed 10-20% but 42% is already near half the price. Not to mention the number we have to pay by this Saturday.

What's this problem with taxation? I realized our cars are taxed more than 100% and the tobacco company were taxed more than 200% (cigarettes). This is normal as they are trying to control the markets & demands for the public. But this mere small stuff for RM 450? I really have nothing much else to said. We'll see what will happen this Saturday...
