My words are my thoughts and I'm a pessimist person who just thinks that Murphy's Law is what defines me. I believe that anything bad that has ever happened will continue to do so. So, if anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway...

It looks like a bunch of garbled text, huh? Well, you can actually learn how to decode using by reading this post.

If you hate challenges, you might want to try jlys@[remove-this]tm.net.my but I only used this sparingly as it's the primary target for junk mails.

Some Funny People That I've Never Met

The other day went out with a friend and I suggested we go for a Tomyam place once they reopened (they're close during Ramadan season). Guess what? She lashed out at me saying that she'll never eat at a Malay stall. Or even an Indian stall. I was appalled.

She explained that the Malays never eat at the Chinese stall, why should Chinese eat at their stall? I explained to her that due to the nature of the Halal concept, and if some Chinese restaurant are able to prepare Halal food, then any Muslims can come to eat at that place. Apparently she has a racist idea already forming in her mind and she's not going to take my explanation.

I was surprised that such people still exist. What is wrong eating at a Malay or Indian stall? Maybe she didn't realize that some of their foods are good, like Satay, Ketupat, Nasi Kandar, etc. Somehow I think she got that really conservative mentality that she's been brought up with.

Wow! What's wrong with eating at a non-chinese place!! I quite like spicy food so I favour Indian/Malay food over Chinese.
