My words are my thoughts and I'm a pessimist person who just thinks that Murphy's Law is what defines me. I believe that anything bad that has ever happened will continue to do so. So, if anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway...

It looks like a bunch of garbled text, huh? Well, you can actually learn how to decode using by reading this post.

If you hate challenges, you might want to try jlys@[remove-this]tm.net.my but I only used this sparingly as it's the primary target for junk mails.

Shelving Off S1 For The FZ10

I've been taking pictures with the testing unit of the Canon S1 IS. However the result was less promising that I've ever hoped for. As I was taking picture since yesterday and today, I found that the camera inherited a very bad noise level. However, with a Panasonic FZ10, it looked finer and very lower noise level. Heck, even with Canon A80, it looked much better!

For comparison, you can actually check out the shots. All these are taken by DCResource and I've noticed the Canon S1 has in the light blue skyline region contained the more noise than the other two comparisons:

Too bad huh, I've been putting all my hopes on the Canon S1 IS but it ended up in disappointment. And yes, probably now I'm watching two products, Panasonic FZ-10 & Konica Minolta Z3...
