Today can't blog that much because there are so many stupid cases I have to follow-up. Like I said, escalation is where we have to clean up people's mess. It involves... *sigh* no more, I don't want to talk about it. Let's see how tomorrow goes.
Project Three - now I did mention and complain about stupid customers. Turns out there are a lot stupid people working in my company as well. Localization was a success. There's a help file but you know what? The stupid manager came over to my place and asked me to input some relevant data. I asked him for the data, and he was queer enough to look me in the eyes and said: "You don't know the information meh?" I was surprised. I told him I was only the localization programmer while the localization officer is only in-charge of the status of the software so that it will work for our region. He then asked me to procure the information for him. Then I asked what kind of information I'm looking for. At then point, suddenly I realized, this manager doesn't know what he's talking about. In short, this guy is full of shit!
Aside from that, I've encountered some people is even stupider than the first manager. This stupid guy, which I termed him as The Dog, was my team leader once and got me to do a project to elevate his position in the management's eye but then backstabbed me once he attained his goal. So you think I have better things to do than to help a person that has betrayed my trust?

Earlier, The Dog has asked me to update a new page for his old project. Like I had nothing else better to do. A project manager then approached me to discuss some option because he is upgrading the new system with higher capacity hard drive. Then The Dog keep calling me. After I ignored his call, he actually has the guts to call
Fuminari and ask about my whereabouts! After Fuminari ditch him off the phone, the idiot called again. Still I ignored his phone call because we're still in a discussion. As a final resort, he called Fuminari again and asked him to transfer his call to me. The bloody bastard must have been desperate. And when I picked up the phone guess what he asked me. No, it's not about the new page.
The Dog actually asked me about some old-time project that has ceased functioning since a year ago. I know his standard tactic. He is asking about old projects because he just wanted my attention. I just give him the details and ditch him off the phone. I completed stupid new page WITHOUT enhancement and he complained it looked ugly. That son of a bitch has the nerve to complain!
Told him his source sucks. He accepted the explanation and then asked me what can be done. Give him so minor detail this time. Let's see what he can come out with tomorrow. And his position now is questioned by some of the lower-ranking agent. He was so pissed that he actually mailed to the majority of the Technical Support people to explain about his job function. And guess what? It's about process evaluation, new projects & information sharing.
And want to know something old? I've already archive all that.
And want to know something older? The management will never see people like me. They like people who bullshits, give false pretense & meaningless market-talk to assure themselves that they are in-charge. The Dog is one fine example trying to sway himself to get into management. He will just do anything to get them to scratch his neck.
A lousy leader rules by iron-fist while an excellent leader leads by example.
