Well, today I came back from lunch, I received some disturbing news from our Parts Planner department. You see, recently there was a corporate customer who had about 8 units that went faulty. So me and
Fuminari dispatched a total 8 of them to the customer.
Guess what? These people from Spare Parts Planner found that there was shortage of parts so one of them emailed me and Fuminari with the following message:
"Customer has requested for 8 exchanges while we can only procure 2 parts. I need to tell my management for these shortcomings. Appreciate if you could provide reason for these shortcomings."
What the hell is that supposed to mean? What all of a sudden we have the answer for everything? And remember that this person is from THE SPARE PARTS PLANNER. And they're asking question that they are supposed to have! So I replied back the mail:
"Technical Support will replace the part as the customer is having a faulty part."
Let see how that explanation would satisfy a stupid question.
