Now, stupid Sales breeds stupid customer. There is no doubt in that. There's this Sales trying to make a big buck, handled the customer so intently that a little mishappen has caused her a lot of frustration...
Sales: "Okay, we've tried the two and it doesn't work. What else?"
Me: "Hmm, I think we can replace the unit."
Sales: "What? That's the best you can do?"
Me: "Well, what else you need of me?"
Sales: "All the things you teach me can be read from the manual!"
Me: "Exactly."
Sales: "Then what are you there for?"
Me: "To help the customer."
Sales: "Don't you have anything more technical than that?"
Me: "What do you expect? Get the customer to open the cover and solder some connection?"
Sales: "No..."
Me: "Or get them to remove the chassis and do a little EEPROM programming?"
Sales: "No..."
Me: "Then what you expect me to do?"
The Sales kept quiet. And she close the line. These Sales person has high expectation which I guess they convey to our customer which has caused us a lot of trouble. And obviously this idiot bitch is getting loads of money from this deal. And by us giving our technical expertise, do we get our share of the money? Don't think so.
So told the bitch to get off my line and get her to deal with other people.
