My words are my thoughts and I'm a pessimist person who just thinks that Murphy's Law is what defines me. I believe that anything bad that has ever happened will continue to do so. So, if anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway...

It looks like a bunch of garbled text, huh? Well, you can actually learn how to decode using by reading this post.

If you hate challenges, you might want to try jlys@[remove-this]tm.net.my but I only used this sparingly as it's the primary target for junk mails.

 Early Morning Glory

I have to come early in order NOT TO GET CAUGHT IN THE STUPID JAM! Have you Penangties realize that the road to Intel/Agilent will get congested between 0700 and 0830? Have the companies in the area change the working time to an earlier state? Or it has just become the norm? In anyways, I really cannot stand the traffic. Just imagine a straight road without any hassle and you'd get caught because some idiots just wanted to go work as well.

Another stupid thing that they have made is that the coastal highway road is expanded near the congested area. Take a look at the picture above. You think this will reduce the traffic. To my estimation based on the calculation of logic and the behaviors of Penang driver, I say this will increase the traffic. Why?

First, drivers who are driving coming from the bottom will try to squeeze in the expanded path. However, some idiots who wanted to turn in left will either cut through the line and will try to squeeze through since there are extra space. Another reason why it wouldn't work is that drivers driving straight won't just take the small extended road. They'd rather go with the big road.

I have a good idea. If the government would want to reduce the traffic, expand the whole coastal highway. However, if they wanted to put on a cost saving, then change the entire road to a one way street. Remember, the whole industrial free trade zone is a large area surrounded by large road. So why not convert these ring roads as a one way street? That way we can be sure the system can disperse the traffic fast enough as the vehicles are coming in.

Don't you wish you have a car like James Bond? Everytime there's a jam, you just lauch a mini rocket onto the traffic. Literally paves the whole way for you!
