My words are my thoughts and I'm a pessimist person who just thinks that Murphy's Law is what defines me. I believe that anything bad that has ever happened will continue to do so. So, if anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway...

It looks like a bunch of garbled text, huh? Well, you can actually learn how to decode using by reading this post.

If you hate challenges, you might want to try jlys@[remove-this]tm.net.my but I only used this sparingly as it's the primary target for junk mails.

What Are These People Up To?

Sometimes I wonder what the driver was thinking by installing such a large spoiler on his car. Come to think of it, it DOES SPOIL the car's image. I know that these fellas took the idea from Formula One (F1) but somehow they never understand the significant usage in F1. The reason it was placed at the first place is to have an inverted Bernoulli Effect1.

By having an inverted wingspan, the stability of a car is proportional to the speed. Therefore, when making a maneuver, the car can actually make a remarkable tight turn around the corner.

The same concept was taken from the F1 but somehow the idea wasn't placed for a practical usage but somewhat was used for more ornamental looks of a car. And thus, back to our main topics, the joker above installed a really really large spoiler. So, what does he actually archieve other than drawing attention to people beside him? Some of my creative friends thought of spraying the spoiler with lewd remark. Others are more aggressive comes out with an idea to 'reinvert' the spoiler, so theoretically when the car goes fast enough, it will lift the car.

1 Bernoulli Effect states that by having air to pass through a surface (large surface on top while small surface on the bottom) will cause low pressure to accumulate on the top surface, therefore creating a lift. An inverted Bernoulli Effect will reverse the effect and used widely in race cars especially F1.

Initially the bugger was driving in front of me that I cannot get a good shot. Luckily, he cuts to the left and that's where I grab the chance...
