Please refer to the character sheet for some insights to the character. Some of the new agents asked me what was it to work 4 years ago when the technical support is still it's in infancy. Just told them that it was pretty messed up with lots of dictators and people with attitude problem all around. The idea of problematic people suddenly pops up a story that happened long ago.

Many of the new technical support agents didn't know the dispute between the two giants prior to their work right now. A few of us that's been with the company knew about the history and how it actually tickles our hearts. You see, when I came in, both Tai Kar Cheh and the Queen Leader are the only females at Technical Support, and I guess from there you can see that they have a little competition between themselves.

There's this one time that both of them were call-taking agents and both of them are still new taking calls from the customer. With a stroke of luck, both of them ended working night shift with an observation from a queue leader.

Now, Tai Kar Cheh received a call from the customer who claims he has a problem with his system. After she managed to resolve the issue, the customer proclaims that he was assisted by another female agents, and it has screwed up his system badly. However, thanking the customer, Tai Kar Cheh quickly closed the call.

After closing the call, she just made a general broadcast that some girl guided the customer unsuccessfully and it has caused him grief. 10 minutes later, she found that Queen Leader broke down and cried. After a while of consoling, the queue leader told Tai Kar Cheh that she hurt Queen Leader's feeling and she should apologize to her.

Tai Kar Cheh, being an upstanding person, asked the queue leader why she should apologize when she didn't hurt anyone's feeling before. If Queen Leader did felt bad about this, then perhaps it was really her mistake! Siapa makan cili, dialah merasa pedas.¹

After being persisted a few times by the working queue leader, she was forced to apologize the Queen Leader. However, Queen Leader still wasn't satisfied with the matter and logged off from the phone system and gave the silent treatment to Tai Kar Cheh. Since Tai Kar Cheh figured that she wasn't at the wrong side, she ignored her until to such a certain extend that she really need to communicate with her officially or work related.

It's funny how it all turns out. Met up with Tai Kar Cheh for dinner recently made me feel how come such person could be promoted to a team leader anyway? Oh what the hell, the management drones never made any good decision anyway. But at least life is good now. Tai Kar Cheh is currently a manager handling 2 teams at once and with her super ambidextous skill, she was able asert control and brought up one of the worse queue to become one of the most successful ones in Asia Pacific.

¹ A saying in Malay where whoever consume chili, he would be the one to felt the hot/spicy taste in his mouth. It goes to say that whoever has made a mistake, that person will feel guilty.
