Last birthday, my father gave me a shaver as a present. Looks good with triple headed blade. That's where I learned the name Gilette Mach 3. Later today, I found that the shaver isn't that sharp anymore and cause more pain than slicing off my short beard.

A quick look on the shaver and found that the shaver's blade has thinned off. A quick drop to 7 Eleven and I was aghast to check the price.

Gilette Mach 3 Shaver = RM 20.75
Gilette Blade Reload x 4 = RM 25.95

Oh my, this is not the first time big corporates has tried this tactics. The same thing as Sony Playstation 2 (I'm talking about originals here), where the set is only as low as USD $149, but the games itself will cost about USD $30 or less. A one year old game will go about USD $10. Let's say you buy the new games, in which after 4-5 games, you can already buy a brand new PS2.

This is bad, what's a man gotta do to take an easy shave? Another quick drop to the RM 2 shop can get me about 10-disposable shaver. One of these baby is good for 5-6 shaves. Hmm, at least I'm getting bang for bucks.
