My words are my thoughts and I'm a pessimist person who just thinks that Murphy's Law is what defines me. I believe that anything bad that has ever happened will continue to do so. So, if anything just cannot go wrong, it will anyway...

It looks like a bunch of garbled text, huh? Well, you can actually learn how to decode using by reading this post.

If you hate challenges, you might want to try jlys@[remove-this]tm.net.my but I only used this sparingly as it's the primary target for junk mails.

 Breaking News

Breaking News
would have been great if it wasn't for the stupid ending. Why I'd say this? Don't even worry about the spoiler. After you know all there is to know, you'll think twice before getting to watch the show or get the DVD.

The show has a great beginning. Robber Richie Ren finally get to reprise a serious role acting as a robber who has his own principal. Cheung Kar Fai on the other hand takes on the approach of a CID who's determine to nap Richie Ren. However, on a failed bust with one dead policeman and a captured video broadcast later, the police was quoted on the media as a failure of a protector. Determine to get around the media, they are forced to put on a show, typically putting Kelly Chen as the person in charge to get this done. On the first 80% of the show was fine, where the police begin to surround the flat where the robbers were last seen. The show puts viewer typically on how each party trying tries outwit the other, using the media as a medium. Nice catchy story there. They even show proper sequence to corner the robbers within a large area compound.

However, on the end, I must really say this out to bring justice to the show: Stupid Kelly Chen stormed out of the Police Command Unit and recovered a fallen handphone used by the bad guy honcho. Sounds great right? How the heck she knows what to listen in order to track Richie Ren down? Not only that, when she cornered Richie Ren at the street, with guns readied on her hip, while Cheung Kar Fai was on the far corner on the street, Richie actually managed to escape!

You tell me how she's trained as a policewoman acting like that? Not only that, she pursued him and guess what? She got captured! I tell you this is serious, how can you get captured if you are properly trained? Heck, even if I was there, I would check the corner first before proceeding. This result in a very very stupid ending. Like all her show, Kelly always acted stiff like Cheng E-Kin. At least I can say Cheng E-Kin has better acting potential than her.

Cheung Kar Fai: 1
Richie Ren: 1
Kelly Chen: 0

The show really trying to put off a typical good starting Hong Kong movie. There is no good interaction between the lead character. Cheung Kar Fai, Richie Ren & Kelly Chen just has to be there. Kelly has some contact with Richie which puts on in a good start but failed to bring out a really gripping plot. I must say both male actor excelled and has matured enough from their past experience. As for Kelly, she still need a lot of acting lessons. Contradict to what I said on Enter The Phoenix, I think it's in my good intention to tell the rest of the good samaritan to stay this one show out.
